2/3oz. to 10/11oz. Craftsman Grade Vegetable-Tanned Natural Tooling Leather (US Origin Hides)
Premium natural veg-tan tooling leather made from native United States steer and young bull hides. Clean grain, traditional slow tanning, and excellent workability across every thickness.
Product Overview
This Craftsman Grade natural tooling leather is made from native United States steer and young bull hides, then slowly vegetable-tanned with Sepici’s proprietary antique blend of oak, chestnut, mimosa, and quebracho. This centuries-old method uses natural tannins from tree bark, branches, and leaves to produce an authentic woody, earthy aroma and a clean, natural surface.
Available in a full range from 2/3oz up to 10/11oz, this leather covers nearly every tooling and crafting application — from ultra-lightweight lining work to heavy-duty holsters and straps. Each piece is natural, undyed, full-grain, ensuring rich patina development and excellent carving response.
