Product Overview
This V1 Natural Veg-Tan Leather is slowly vegetable-tanned with Sepici’s historic blend of oak, chestnut, mimosa, and quebracho extracts. This traditional tanning method uses tannic acids from tree bark and leaves, producing leather with a warm, earthy aroma and a natural light-beige tone that develops a caramel patina over time.
At 4/5oz (1.6–2.0 mm), this weight is ideal for wallet interiors, notebook covers, small leather goods, detailed carving, lighter sheaths, folios, and wet-molding. It provides excellent hand-tool response while being thin enough for layered projects.
