This leather is tanned very similarly to traditional sole leather, featuring a strong tannage and a roll-pressed finish that creates an exceptionally dense, tight fiber structure.

Unlike standard tooling leather, this hide is produced with a firmer temper and compressed grain structure, giving it outstanding rigidity, low stretch, and excellent shape retention. The grain remains completely natural and unfinished — no top finish or artificial coating — while the final roll-pressing process tightens both the grain and fibers for added density and durability.
