7/8oz. V1 Veg-Tan Natural Tooling Leather – Vegetable-Tanned by Sepici
7/8oz. V1 Vegetable-Tanned Natural Tooling Leather by Sepici
Premium natural veg-tan leather with tight grain, firm temper and a clean, tooling-ready surface. Slowly pit-tanned by Sepici using traditional plant extracts.
Product Overview
This V1 Natural Veg-Tan Leather is slowly pit-tanned using Sepici’s proprietary blend of oak, chestnut, mimosa, and quebracho extracts. This traditional vegetable-tanning method uses tannins from tree bark and leaves, producing leather with a warm, natural aroma of wood and earth.
At 7/8oz (2.8–3.2 mm), this weight is perfect for leatherworkers seeking a balance between flexibility and structure. It tools cleanly, molds exceptionally well, and dyes evenly—making it ideal for belts, molded cases, holsters, sheaths, panels, and carving work.
